The hotel has been closed for the last two midweeks, but for busy hoteliers like us there’s never time for a break! We’ve taken advantage of the downtime to get on with a whole load of refurbishment work. All the woodwork in and around reception has been touched up, corridors have been re-glossed and half a dozen rooms have been completely redecorated.

Oh, and all the Christmas decorations have gone up as well

We reopen tomorrow and hopefully the new arrivals will appreciate the new and smarter Cavendish!
